Leadership

Vicar - Colton Carrick

Colton Carrick is our senior minister/vicar here at Redemption Church. He is married to the lovely Tiara and together they have been blessed with two beautiful daughters.

Colton hails from Stouffville, ON, but has spent the past few years ministering in Ottawa, ON and St. John’s, NL. After studying theology at Ryle Seminary in Ottawa, Colton was ordained a minister in the Anglican Diocese of Canada.

Colton loves the Triune God of the Bible and loves nothing more than to see people come alive as they come to know this Living God. He considers it a great privilege to serve at Redemption Church and cherishes the opportunity to glorify and enjoy God with some great folk in Charlottetown, PEI.

Curate - Vaclav Vasil

Vaclav Vasil is our curate here at Redemption Church. He is married to his lovely wife Lina and they have two growing boys, Luther and Owen.

After Vaclav finished his theological studies at Packer College in St. John's, NL, he and his family moved to Charlottetown to join in on the work of Redemption Church and to practice what he has learned in theory.

Vaclav was born in Slovakia and came to Canada during the Revolution of 1989, escaping communism. He was raised a Roman/Greek Catholic and was taught to fear God from an early age by his loving Grandma. He first read the Bible in Canada when his adoptive mother gave one to him. He didn't understand the Gospel at first, but eventually the Lord saved him, bringing him to understand and believe the Gospel. Since then he has been passionate to know Christ and to help others understand what the Scriptures teach concerning God and people.

Vaclav will be ordained a minister in the Anglican Diocese of Canada this October. We are praying for him and his family and look forward to seeing what God will do through their lives devoted to serving Jesus and his people in Charlottetown.
